> Business, Economy, Manufactured Homes > Manufactured Home Demand Continues in Western North Dakota
From North Dakota and KXTNews comes a story about the demand for manufactured housing in the oil-boom state. Soon after new homes arrive on sales lots, they leave for site placement. The sales manager for one business told the reporter sales have tripled in the past year, most destined for the western part of the state. The task of setting the homes is being outsourced to companies in Montana and elsewhere just to keep up with demand. Used homes are apparently difficult to find and afford.
